Trees
East Goscote Parish Council has appointed Cllr Peberdy as Tree Warden. In conjunction with Leicestershire County Council, Cllr Peberdy is currently undertaking various training courses and establishing himself in the role.
Please report any concerns regarding trees to the Parish Office, and these will then be checked by the Tree Warden or reported to the County Council for further investigation.
Over the years many trees have been planted throughout the village, including on the Mound as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy, an initiative to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
