Speed Checks by the Charnwood East Beat Team

Speeding operations were carried out on 04/02/2020 by Charnwood East beat team that covers East goscote, Queniborough, Barkby, South Croxton, Thurmaston & Syston. The locations were selected after feedback from the public that attended local Parish council meetings or beat surgeries and raised concerns.

While stationed at the locations the following numbers were exceeding the speed limit and a number were issued with speeding tickets.

In East Goscote, Melton road– 5 vehicles found to be be above the speed limit.
