Police Update to Stabbing in East Goscote

A 24-year-old man has been charged on Tuesday 16 October following a stabbing in East Goscote.

A male of Tinkers Dell, East Goscote, has been charged with one count of section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, one count of common assault and one count of possession of a bladed article.

He appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court  on 17 October and was remanded in custody.

The charges relates to an incident in Lilac Way, in which a 35-year-old man suffered a serious stab wound to his neck on Sunday 14 October.

He remains in hospital where his condition is now stable.
