Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

Broome Lane will be closed at 22:30 hours on 22nd August 2017 till 05:30 hours on 23rd August 2017.

The road will be closed either side of the level crossing.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Centurion Site Services undertake works on the level crossing.

TTRO – Closure of Station Road, Rearsby

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER:-

STATION ROAD, REARSBY

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

Station Road will be closed on 16th December for 1 night (21:00 hours till 09:30 hours).

The road will be closed either side of the level crossing.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Centurion Site Services, on behalf of Network Rail, undertake works on the level crossing.

During the restricted period, the alternative diversion route will be via:- Melton Road, Broome Lane (East Goscote), Main Street (Ratcliffe on the Wreake), Thrussington Road (Ratcliffe on the Wreake), Ratcliffe Road (Thrussington) and vice versa.

The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.

The duration of the TTRO is for a period not exceeding 5 days commencing on the 20th January 2017.

The actual duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 night (22:00 hours till 10:00 hours) within the aforementioned duration.

Broome Lane will be closed on Sunday 8th April 2018 for 1 day, (06:00 hours till 14:00 hours).

The road will be closed either side of the level crossing.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow network Rail undertake annual level crossing tests.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via:- Main Street, Thrussington Road, Ratcliffe Road, Rearsby Road, Station Road, Brookside, Melton Road and vice versa.

Temporary Traffic Order for ASDA Roundabout, Thurmaston

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following locations: Melton Road, Syston Western Bypass, Newark Road, Barkby Thorpe Lane, Fosse Way, Thurmaston and Syston (see attached plan). The purpose of the TTRO is to facilitate Leicestershire County Council with carriageway maintenance works.

The TTRO will incorporate temporary road closures, temporary 7.5 tonne weight restriction suspensions.

All of these works will be undertaken, overnight, in separate phases.

The duration of the TTRO is for a period not exceeding 18 months commencing on the 14th May 2018.

The actual duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 2 months within the aforementioned duration.

Temporary closure of Broome Lane 9th June for 1 night

A temporary road closure is required on Broome Lane on 9th June 2018 for 1 night (21:00 hours till 09:00 hours).

The road will be closed either side of the level crossing.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Network Rail undertake Switch renewal works on the level crossing.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be via:- Main Street, Thrussington Road, Ratcliffe Road, Rearsby Road, Station Road, Brookside, Melton Road and vice versa.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for Syston starting in August

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.

The works will progress as follows: –

  • Glebe Way will be closed on the 6th August 2018 from Wanlip Road to Moorland Road.
  • Wanlip Road will be closed on 6th August 2018 from Ryans Way to A46 for 1 day.
  • A607 Slip Road will be closed on 6th August 2018 from the A607 to Wanlip Road for 1 day.
  • College Road will be closed on 7th August 2018 from Goodes Lane to Barkby Road.
  • Barkby Road will be closed on 8th August 2018 from Melton Road to Queniborough Road for 1 day.
  • Fosseway will be closed on 16th September 2018 from Roman Way to Melton Road for 1 day.
  • Melton Road will be closed on 16th September 2018 from Barkby Lane to Thurmaston Roundabout for 1 day

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council undertake carriageway patching works.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site.

Temporary Traffic Regulation for Melton Road, Syston 30th July

 

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A temporary parking bay suspension and temporary prohibition of waiting and loading order was due on Melton Road from 16th July 2018 for 3 days.

Due to unforeseen circumstances the works did not take place.

The suspension will now be enforced on 30th July 2018 for 3 days

The parking bays outside properties 1172 to 1190 will be suspended.

During the works a ‘Temporary prohibition of waiting and loading’ order will be enforced within the suspended parking bays.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water undertake works on a new water connection in the carriageway
