Raising funds for our Village Hall Roof with Tesco Bags of Help

East Goscote Village Hall have applied for and been successful in being put forward for a customer vote in Tesco stores during November and December 2017.

To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it’s not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.

 

The stores taking part are;

Free First Aid Training

East Goscote Parish Council are considering offering residents free first aid training to include:

  • How to manage a first aid incident
  • Dealing with an unconscious casualty/recovery position
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on adults, children & babies
  • Recognition and treatment of choking
  • Recognition and treatment of seizures
  • Q & A session

1st Aid training

Temporary closure of Melton Road, The Millstones from 15th July for 6 weeks

David Wilson Homes are closing the Melton Road from The Millstones on Melton Road from Saturday 15th July for 6 weeks.  This will enable them to complete new sewer connections at the new site.

The diverted route will be via Syston Road or Rearsby Road, Barkby Road to Syston Grange traffic lights and Barkby Road, Syston and vice versa.

The Parish Council are having a summer recess in August.  After their meeting in July they will not meet again until September due to holidays, etc.
